Can talc conveyor be used for transporting talcum powder?
Many people want to know if talc powder can be used in dust-free conveying chain conveyor, the answer is yes. Talc has excellent physical and chemical properties such as lubricity, viscosity resistance, flow aid, fire resistance, acid resistance, insulation, high melting point, chemical inactivity, good covering power, softness, good gloss, strong adsorption and so on. Because the crystalline structure of talc is layered, it has the tendency to split into scales and special slippery. Wettability, if Fe2O3 content is very high, will reduce its insulation.
The talc is soft, its Mohrenheit hardness coefficient is 1-1.5, has slippery feeling, {001} cleavage is very complete, very easy to split into thin sheets, natural resting angle is small (35-40 degrees), very unstable, wall rocks are silicified and talcified magnesite, magnesite, lean ore or dolomitic marble, except for a few medium-stable, generally unstable, joints, joints, marble. Fracture development, physical and mechanical properties of ore and surrounding rock have great influence on mining technology. When the lungs come into contact with talcum powder, it can cause health risks. Because talc miners are often exposed to industrial-grade talc powder containing silica and asbestos, they have a higher risk of lung cancer and other respiratory diseases. The common family hazard caused by talcum powder is inhalation of infant talcum powder for infants. Since the early 1980s, thousands of babies have been documented dead or seriously ill each year in accidental talcum inhalation incidents. Talcum powder is so dangerous that we need to transport the chain conveyor.
